Sony recently revealed a limited edition bundle for the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, featuring a custom PS5 cover. This cover showcases black tendrils on a red backdrop, symbolizing the epic clash between Venom and Spider-Man, complete with a white Spidey logo in the corner.
Dbrand’s rendition, named “Arachnoplates,” closely resembles Sony’s design but incorporates more intricate web patterns without any spider imagery.
To emphasize its playful nod to Sony’s version, Dbrand humorously states in the item description for the plates: “The [POPULAR VIDEO GAME CONSOLE] maker [MEGACORP] failed to produce enough stock of their [LICENSED VIDEO GAME] side panels.” The description concludes with a tongue-in-cheek comment about the situation.
