Apple just dropped the news about their next big event, “It’s Glowtime,” happening on September 9, 2024, at their Cupertino headquarters. If you’re tuning in from around the world, you can catch the livestream on YouTube and Apple.com at midnight WIB on September 10. This announcement is a bit of a surprise since rumors were pointing to a September 10 event date!
The big reveal at this event is expected to be the new iPhone 16 series. All four models are rumored to include an Action Button and a new Capture Button with gesture support to make snapping pics and videos easier. They’re also likely to feature the new A18 chip, with the Pro models potentially getting an upgraded A18 Pro version for some extra on-device AI power.

For the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, we might see bigger screens, bumping up from 6.1 and 6.7 inches to 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively. Plus, both Pro models are rumored to get a 5x telephoto zoom camera—this used to be a Pro Max exclusive!
Besides the iPhone 16 series, we’re also expecting the Apple Watch Series 10 with a slimmer design and the fourth-gen AirPods with better active noise cancellation (ANC). There might even be news about the release dates for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia.
With all this on the horizon, “It’s Glowtime” is shaping up to be one of Apple’s most exciting events yet. Keep an eye out for more updates as we get closer to the date!
