A unique approach is what Square Enix is aiming for with their latest mobile game project – Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. On paper, its design seems tailored to meet the expectations of several Final Fantasy VII gamers who want to blend modern visuals while retaining the turn-based gameplay of the classic series. Although its execution doesn’t entirely follow the console game conventions, especially with its free-to-play format and episodic scenarios, Ever Crisis still presents itself as a tempting project.
Approaching its planned release next month, Square Enix has finally unveiled the release trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis. Apart from confirming that this initial release will come with the original FF VII storyline and Crisis Core for you to enjoy, along with showcasing a variety of costumes that you can equip for existing characters, this 2-minute trailer also includes a glimpse of CGI sequences. It appears to focus on a young Sephiroth, who seems innocent and just embarking on his early missions.
