After nearly two years since its initial launch, Google’s AI-powered learning platform, NotebookLM, is finally making its way to mobile devices. Previously accessible only through its website, NotebookLM is now confirmed to be in development as a dedicated app for both Android and iOS.
The news was officially shared via the NotebookLM account on X (formerly Twitter). While specific release dates have yet to be announced, Google has promised that the mobile app is coming soon, bringing AI-driven study tools right to your smartphone.
For those unfamiliar, NotebookLM allows users to upload multiple documents, which the AI then summarizes and links together in a meaningful way. Users can also ask follow-up questions, making NotebookLM a powerful AI assistant for studying and research.
Earlier, Google introduced a new feature called Audio Overview. This innovative tool transforms uploaded documents into podcast-style audio summaries, narrated by two virtual hosts. Google also mentioned plans to expand this feature to support languages beyond English in the near future.
Currently, NotebookLM is available in Indonesia and supports the Indonesian language, making it accessible to more users around the world. If you’re interested in trying it out, simply visit notebooklm.google.com on your desktop or mobile browser.
