HoverAir X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max Launch Ahead of DJI Neo

HoverAir has introduced its new drones, the X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max, before the launch of the DJI Neo. These models come with substantial upgrades and are aimed at both casual users and professionals seeking advanced drone features.

The HoverAir X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max offer notable performance improvements. In auto-follow mode, they can achieve speeds of up to 42 km/h, with a peak speed of 60 km/h. Their maximum flight time is 16 minutes, extending around 5 minutes longer than the previous X1 model. Both drones are built to endure winds up to level 5 and can fly at altitudes up to 5,500 meters, making them versatile for various outdoor conditions.

A key highlight of the X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max is their advanced camera systems. The X1 Pro features a 17 mm equivalent lens and supports 4K video recording at 60fps or 1080p at 120fps, with a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor. The X1 Pro Max offers even greater capabilities, including 8K video recording at 30fps. It also supports 4K recording at 120fps or 60fps with HDR 10-bit, thanks to its larger 1/1.3-inch sensor and a 16 mm equivalent lens, enhancing image quality and detail.

Despite their advanced features, both the X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max remain compact and lightweight, measuring 173 x 149 x 39 mm and weighing 192 grams. They now include an LCD screen for easier control and settings adjustment, replacing the previous two-button and six-LED system. This improvement enhances user-friendliness and accessibility.

Pricing and availability details for the HoverAir X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max have not yet been disclosed. For context, the original HoverAir X1 was priced at $349 on Amazon. Given the new features and enhancements, the upcoming models are expected to be competitively priced in the consumer drone market.
