Huawei has unveiled its latest smartwatch designed specifically for kids, the Children’s Watch 5 Pro. This successor to the Children’s Watch 4 Pro introduces a groundbreaking offline positioning 2.0 feature, enabling parents to track their children’s whereabouts even when the device is out of network range or powered off for up to five days.
This innovative feature aligns with Huawei’s commitment to child safety and has earned the Children’s Watch 5 Pro the title of the first children’s smartwatch to receive the Child Safety Guardian Certification in China.
Dual-core design and enhanced offline positioning
The Huawei Children’s Watch 5 Pro boasts a dual-core design and the aforementioned offline positioning 2.0 as its key highlights. This enhanced offline positioning capability utilizes a combination of 14-fold AI positioning, 5-fold satellite positioning, triple wired positioning, and triple auxiliary positioning, doubling the effectiveness of the previous version.
Capture precious moments with dual cameras
The new smartwatch for kids comes equipped with a 200W front camera and a 500W rear camera, both supporting 4x digital zoom and video calling.
Long-lasting battery and fast charging
Powered by an 800mAh battery, the Huawei Children’s Watch 5 Pro can last up to 24 hours under typical usage. Additionally, it supports magnetic fast charging, enabling a full recharge in just 40 minutes.
