iPhone Users Can Change Icon Colors in iOS 18

While AI feature integrations will be the main highlight of the upcoming iOS 18, wider customization options are also one of the interesting updates for the iPhone operating system. The latest leaks say that iOS 18 will also allow users to change icon colors.

As revealed by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, in iOS 18 later, users can change the base color of app icons on the iPhone. For example, making all social media applications blue or making financial applications green and so on according to taste.

This kind of homescreen customization option can actually be done on the iPhone, but of course it is very complicated because you have to use a third-party shortcut application and set it up one by one. In addition, previous reports also said that iOS 18 will allow users to freely arrange the icon layout on the homescreen.

Currently, the app icons on the iPhone home screen are locked to an imaginary grid and do not allow users to create empty space. This means that the app icons will automatically fill the empty space, making the home screen feel full of app icons. Well, for the first time since the launch of the iPhone in 2007, Apple has finally provided this option.

More detailed information about iOS 18 itself will be announced at the WWDC event which will take place in June. iOS 18 which will be equipped with various new AI features is predicted to be released to the public only at the end of 2024.
