The Genshin Impact 4.8 livestream provided an exciting overview of the characters featured in each phase. As this article is being written, HoYoverse has announced the character banners for version 4.8.
This update is set to introduce some highly anticipated characters, much to the delight of Genshin Impact fans!
In this update, Genshin Impact brings back two rerun banners: Navia and Nilou. However, what has truly excited fans is the return of Kaveh, the 4-star Dendro character from Sumeru. After more than a year of absence from any banner, Kaveh is finally making a comeback, much to the fans’ joy.
Navia Rerun for the First Time!
Genshin Impact 4.8 will feature the rerun banner of Navia for the first time. Navia is a 5-star Geo character wielding a Claymore, known for her enjoyable gameplay.
You can obtain Navia in the “In the Name of the Rosula” or “Oath of a Rose” banner from July 17, 2024, to August 6, 2024.
This lovely Fontaine banner will also include Kaveh (Dendro-Claymore), Kirara (Dendro-Sword), and Ningguang (Geo-Catalyst).
Nilou Rerun is Also Here!
Alongside Navia, Genshin Impact will also rerun Nilou from Sumeru. Nilou is a 5-star Hydro character wielding a Sword, who will receive a new skin in the 4.8 update!
Similar to Navia, the “Twirling Lotus” or “Graceful Lotus Dance” rerun banner will be available from July 17, 2024, to August 6, 2024.
This beautiful Sumeru banner will also feature the same 4-star characters: Kaveh (Dendro-Claymore), Kirara (Dendro-Sword), and Ningguang (Geo-Catalyst).
New Weapons to Strengthen Your Characters
In addition to the character banners, the game will also feature a 5-star weapon banner to enhance your characters’ abilities.
The Weapon Wish Banner will include Navia’s signature weapon, the 5-star Claymore “Verdict,” and the 5-star Sword “Key of Khaj-Nisut” for Nilou.
The weapon banner will also feature the 4-star weapons Xiphos’ Moonlight (Sword), The Bell (Claymore), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), Eye of Perception (Catalyst), and Rust (Bow).
