Marshall has just unveiled its latest additions to their portable speaker lineup: the Emberton III and the Willen II. Building on the success of their predecessors, these new models aim to offer users enhanced features and performance while maintaining the brand’s signature design and quality. With upgraded battery life, faster charging, and new functionalities, the Emberton III and Willen II are set to elevate the listening experience for music lovers everywhere.
The Emberton III, an upgrade from the Emberton II, now features a battery life of up to 32 hours on a single charge, an increase from the previous 30 hours. Meanwhile, the Willen II also sees a boost in battery longevity, offering up to 17 hours of playtime compared to the 15 hours of its predecessor. In addition to the extended battery life, both speakers support faster charging. A quick 20-minute charge provides the Emberton III with 6 hours of playtime, while the Willen II can deliver 5.5 hours of music playback with the same charge time.
In terms of audio specifications, the speakers maintain their original designs. The Emberton III remains a compact wireless stereo speaker, equipped with two 2-inch full-range 10W drivers and two passive radiators. The Willen II, a smaller mono speaker, also features a 2-inch full-range 10W driver and two passive radiators.
Both new models support Bluetooth 5.3 LE, offering more stable connections and improved power efficiency. They also include Auracast, a feature that enhances the audio streaming experience. Additionally, both the Emberton III and Willen II have an IP67 rating, making them resistant to dust and water, suitable for use in various environments.
The design of both speakers stays true to the classic Marshall aesthetic, featuring a premium synthetic leather finish and available in Black or Cream. A notable addition to the Emberton III is the inclusion of a microphone for voice calls, a feature that was not present in previous models.
