At the heart of the Dimensity 9400 is the Arm Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU, offering a 41% increase in performance, along with 40% better Ray Tracing and 44% greater power efficiency. This boost will enhance gaming experiences and intensive graphical applications. In terms of AI, the NPU 890 shows a 35% increase in energy efficiency and offers up to a 100% speed boost in Diffusion tasks, along with an 80% improvement for large language models (LLM), making it a solid choice for AI-heavy tasks.
For imaging, the Imagiq 1090 ISP supports HDR video recording across zoom levels, offering seamless transitions between zoom ranges in photo capture. With a 14% reduction in power usage for 4K60 video recording, it maximizes efficiency, and the chipset now supports up to 8K60 video recording for ultra-high-definition content creation.
The Dimensity 9400 also comes packed with cutting-edge connectivity features, including LPDDR5X RAM support, UFS 4.0 storage, WQHD+ displays with up to 180Hz refresh rates, and Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 compatibility, ensuring next-gen performance across all fronts.
