MediaTek has officially unveiled its latest mid-range system-on-chip (SoC), the Helio G100. This new processor arrives just eight days after MediaTek announced it would be featured in the upcoming Tecno Camon 30S Pro, which will be the first smartphone to use this chip. The Helio G100 is designed to offer enhanced performance and new features that distinguish it from its predecessor, the Helio G99.
Helio G100 Specifications
When it comes to core specifications, the Helio G100 shares a lot of similarities with the Helio G99, particularly in its CPU and GPU architecture. The Helio G100 continues to use an octa-core setup, consisting of two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.2 GHz and six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. The GPU remains the Mali G57, which is the same as the one found in the Helio G99.
