OnePlus has introduced a new set of earbuds to the European market, and their origins might ring a bell. Back in March, OnePlus launched a more affordable version of its Buds Pro in China, and now, these earbuds have made their way to Europe with a slight name change – they’re called the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R. Curiously, only the white color variant of these earbuds is currently available in Europe.
If you’re quick to act, there’s an appealing introductory offer on the table. In Europe, you can grab the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R for just €129, a €20 reduction from the regular €149 price. To secure this discount, all you need to do is pre-order a pair before September 25th at 11:00 CEST directly from OnePlus’ official store.
However, before you make a decision, there’s a twist to consider. The non-R, non-Lite version of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is currently priced at €125.30 in Europe. Surprisingly, they are not only cheaper than the Buds Pro 2R but also come with extra features like wireless charging and head tracking support, which the Buds Pro 2R lacks. In terms of core functionality, they are essentially the same. So, if you can still get your hands on the Pro 2 earbuds for €125.30, they might be the better choice.
On the other hand, if the price of the Pro 2 earbuds increases or you don’t prioritize wireless charging and head tracking, then the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R could still be a suitable option for you.
