Realme has just dropped the Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ in India! These new mid-range champs come with some cool upgrades over last year’s models, including a faster processor, better cooling, and enhanced cameras.
Design-wise, the Realme 13 Pro Series is pretty similar to the previous generation. They’ve got the same large, round camera bump in the center and feature curved displays and back panels, but with some new color options.
What’s New in Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+
Both the Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ come with a sleek 6.7-inch AMOLED screen that’s FHD+ with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming. The display can get up to 2000 nits bright, covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Under the hood, these phones are powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (4nm) chip. You get up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The cooling system has been upgraded with a bigger 4,500mm² vapor chamber to keep things cool.
The Realme 13 Pro+ has some impressive camera specs. It features a 50MP Sony LYT-701 main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera with an f/2.65 aperture that supports 3x optical zoom.
The Realme 13 Pro, on the other hand, has a simpler camera setup with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS, plus an 8MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Both models come with a 32MP selfie camera housed in a punch hole notch on the display.
Battery life is improved too, with both models packing a 5,200mAh battery. The Realme 13 Pro charges at 45W, while the Pro+ gets a speedy 80W charge. Last year, both models had 67W fast charging.
