After receiving certification from the FCC and appearing on the Geekbench website, the Samsung Galaxy A05 has now been spotted on the Google Play Console list, indicating that this device is set to launch in the near future.
In terms of design, it appears that the rear panel will feature a lined pattern, giving it a more premium look compared to most current entry-level smartphones. It’s not yet known whether the rear panel will be made of plastic or glass.
According to GSM Arena, the Samsung Galaxy A05, which is the successor to the Galaxy A04 in the entry-level category, will feature two cameras on the back, 4 GB of RAM, a waterdrop notch, an HD+ resolution display, a 5000mAh battery, and will run Android 13 right out of the box, layered with the One UI 5.X launcher. As for the chipset, it is likely to use the MediaTek Helio G85.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A04 around August of last year, and its successor is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
