Samsung Unveils Galaxy Quantum5: Akin to Galaxy A55 5G, but with a Unique Twist

Samsung, in partnership with SK Telecom, has introduced its latest smartphone, the Galaxy Quantum5. This new device boasts advanced security features that are claimed to be unprecedented. Additionally, Samsung has collaborated with ID Quantique to integrate high-level security technology into the Galaxy Quantum5.

The Galaxy Quantum5 shares its foundational design with the Galaxy A55 model. It features an aluminum frame, front and back glass panels with IP67 certification for water and dust resistance, and a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, it includes a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Quantum5 is powered by the Exynos 1480 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. It is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.

The standout feature of the Galaxy Quantum5 is its Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) chip. This chip employs quantum physics principles to produce truly random numbers for encryption, enhancing the security of sensitive data such as biometrics and passwords against potential cyber threats and data tampering.

The Galaxy Quantum5 is available in three eye-catching colors: Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy. Currently, it is only available in South Korea, with a price of KRW 618,200. There is no current information about a global release.
