The latest game from miHoYo, titled Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ), introduces a variety of unique gameplay elements. Among these is the TV Mode feature, where players explore a forbidden area depicted as a board filled with TVs.
This mode has become one of ZZZ’s defining characteristics. Recently, however, rumors have surfaced suggesting that the TV Mode feature might be removed from the game. Where did these speculations originate?
This information has been widely discussed within the ZZZ gaming community. They have received hints that the TV Mode feature may be eliminated from Zenless Zone Zero.
The speculation began with a Special Program video released by ZZZ to celebrate the launch of miHoYo’s new game. In the video, Dawei, the CEO of miHoYo, along with [Y], the Game Designer of ZZZ, explained several gameplay features, focusing particularly on the main Combat feature with TV Mode.
The Game Designer of ZZZ detailed how their team is striving to present challenging stages for players, similar to the Rally Commission. This effort aims to create an experience where Combat and stage interactions are intertwined and can be completed by players. They also plan to enhance such features in the future.
Dawei then questioned whether the board or TV Mode in ZZZ would be replaced with a mode that directly presents stages for players to explore, rather than a map depicted as TVs.
The Game Designer of ZZZ responded that this is their goal in creating stages. They plan for ZZZ to continue evolving in various directions so that players, referred to as Proxies, can fully enjoy it.
In other words, the development team aims to continually improve the game until players are completely satisfied. They are committed to enhancing ZZZ’s gameplay to provide players with an extraordinary gaming experience.
