Tecno’s First Tablet Set to be Named “MegaPad”

Tecno is gearing up to launch its inaugural tablet, which will be called the “MegaPad.” In fact, Tecno is preparing not just one, but two tablet models. According to information from the IMEI database, the company is working on the Tecno MegaPad 10, with model number T1001, and the Tecno MegaPad 11, bearing model number T1101.

These two tablets appear to cater to different size preferences, with the MegaPad 10 featuring a 10-inch display and the MegaPad 11 equipped with an 11-inch screen. Despite the “Mega” name, these devices seem to be positioned as entry-level options, with specifications that are modest rather than high-end.

Leaks suggest that the MegaPad 10, with its 10-inch display, will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The tablet is expected to come with 4GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB. It will feature a 7,000mAh battery and a 13MP main camera.

A notable feature of the MegaPad 10 is its support for LTE connectivity, meaning that the tablet will not be limited to WiFi-only use. This adds a layer of versatility, allowing users to stay connected on the go.

With these upcoming tablets, Tecno aims to make a significant entry into the tablet market, offering affordable options with decent specifications for a wide range of users.
