Through their official YouTube channel, Behaviour Interactive confirmed that The Casting of Frank Stone will launch on September 3, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Epic Games and Steam.
The trailer begins by showing three teenagers living in a small Oregon village, haunted by the eerie history of Frank Stone, a figure who terrorized the area in the past and continues to cast a shadow over the community.
Set in the summer of 1980, the game follows a group of teens as they encounter strange mysteries and document their experiences in “Murder Mill,” a classic cult-themed film that’s dangerous for anyone who watches it.
Collaborating with Supermassive Games (known for Until Dawn), The Casting of Frank Stone integrates into the Dead by Daylight universe, featuring an interactive horror movie gameplay style, with dialogue choices, interactions, and Quick Time Events (QTEs) that influence various storylines and scenes.
