VALORANT is Coming to Consoles!

Console gamers who are used to playing FPS games with a controller won’t find it strange or unfamiliar. Modern FPS games often include aim-assist features, which make controller gameplay viable and even preferred by some pro gamers. However, this hasn’t typically been the case for precision-heavy FPS games like Counter-Strike and VALORANT. But things are about to change for VALORANT.

At the Summer Game Fest 2024, Riot Games announced that VALORANT will be making its way to consoles, specifically PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The reveal trailer showed that the game aims to maintain precision shooting capabilities, though specifics about the aim-assist technology are still under wraps. The console version of VALORANT will include all features and content, such as Competitive and Unranked modes. However, it remains unclear whether it will support cross-play with PC gamers.

While Riot Games has not provided a specific release date for the console version of VALORANT, a limited beta is set to start on June 14, 2024. Are you excited about this project?
