Xiaomi has been making headlines as it prepares to launch its much-anticipated Xiaomi 14 Series smartphones, scheduled for their debut in November 2023. Simultaneously, Xiaomi is diligently working on the latest iteration of MIUI, poised to complement its upcoming flagship devices.
Although specific details about the operating system are still scarce, MIUI 15 is reported to be on the horizon for more than 100 different Xiaomi devices throughout the span of 2023 and into 2024.
As reported by Xiaomiui, a variety of Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO products are in line to receive the MIUI 15 update. It’s worth noting that many of these devices are currently running on MIUI 13, hinting at the potential need for an intermediate upgrade to MIUI 14.
The imminent arrival of MIUI 15 also raises questions about the future of official support for various beloved smartphone series. For instance, it appears that the Mi 10 series will continue to operate on MIUI 14, and the same applies to the complete lineup of smartphones within the Redmi K30, Redmi Note 9, and Redmi Note 10 families.
