Simulation games might not have as large a fan base compared to action or sports games, but they can still captivate a broad audience with their engaging and addictive gameplay. Planet Coaster 2, recently announced, is one such game.
Frontier Developments has officially announced that Planet Coaster 2 will be released in Fall 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. For more information, you can visit the official website HERE.
The game will introduce several new features, including massive water attractions. Players can create long rivers, high-speed slides, wave pools, and fun waterboards. These attractions can be equipped with changing rooms, sun loungers, lifeguards, and more.
This sequel aims to boost player creativity with refined building and pathing tools, modular construction pieces, and new themes.
For the first time, players will be able to customize rides with three modes: Career mode, Franchise mode, and Sandbox mode.
Lastly, Frontier announced several online options. Players will be able to visit others’ parks to test rides, compete on Franchise mode leaderboards, and collaborate in Sandbox mode across platforms.
Players can also share and download blueprints and complete parks across platforms via the Frontier Workshop.
